The short version

What data does Who Says Moo? collect?

None. Who Says Moo? is designed from the ground up to work without collecting any user data. There are no servers, no databases, no user accounts, and no analytics. Everything happens on your device.

Children's privacy

Who Says Moo? is made for children. We take this responsibility seriously. The app does not collect any data from anyone, including children. There are no social features, no chat, no user-generated content, and no way to contact other users. The app is fully self-contained on your device.

Audio and sounds

All animal sounds and voice narration are played locally on your device. No audio is recorded, uploaded, or transmitted. The app uses text-to-speech synthesis built into iOS for voice narration, which runs entirely on-device.

App progress

Your child's discovered animals, favorites, quiz progress, and custom wheels are saved locally on the device using standard iOS storage. This data is never transmitted anywhere. If you delete the app, all progress is deleted with it.

Parent area

The app includes a parent area protected by a simple math gate. Settings changes (like resetting progress or toggling voice narration) are stored locally on your device only.

Third-party services

Who Says Moo? does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no SDKs collecting data in the background. No ads. No pixels. No fingerprinting.

Internet access

Who Says Moo? does not require an internet connection to function. The app works entirely offline. No data is sent to or received from any server during normal use.

Data sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not have any data to share.

Data retention

All data is stored locally on your iPhone. If you delete the app, all data is deleted with it. We retain nothing because we receive nothing.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how data is handled, we will update this page with a new date. Given our commitment to privacy-first design, we don't anticipate significant changes.
